Robin Lennox
MPP, Hamilton Centre
Dr. Robin Lennox is the Official Opposition’s Shadow Minister for Mental Health and Addictions and Primary Care. A family physician and McMaster University medical school graduate, she has lived in Hamilton since 2012 and served on the city’s Public Health Sub-Committee.
As a family physician, Dr. Lennox witnessed the impact that health and social policies have on the lives of Hamiltonians. Through Dr. Lennox’s work with St. Joseph’s Hospital, HAMSMaRT, and the Shelter Health Network, she has provided frontline care to unhoused communities and contributed directly to efforts addressing the toxic drug crisis. She decided to enter political life to improve policy on the social determinants of health and the well-being of our communities.
In her new role as MPP, Dr. Lennox is advocating to expand publicly funded healthcare to include head-to-toe healthcare in Ontario, transform our primary care and acute health systems, and address the impacts of the housing and cost of living crisis.
